Why are business logos so important?

In my years of working with hundreds of vendors for our vendors events I have came across many vendors who don't have a logo for their business. When I ask do you have a logo for promotion I simply get a no. I wanted to do a quick blog on why a business logo is very important for any business.

First lets think about some of our favorite places that we go to for entertainment, or restaurants we eat at or even our favorite brands of clothes. They all have logos and those logos are what we look for when we visit these places or wear these brands. We know McDonalds by the golden arches no matter what country we go to every McDonalds has those Golden Arches. We identify Nike, Addidas, Polo, Dolce & Gabanna, etc by their logo. When you think about it like that you kind of get the idea of just how important a logo is to your brand.

Before I started doing vendor events I was a vendor. I made my natural skincare products so I promoted my business on social media (heavy) and with every post or ad was my logo. My logo was on all my products and when I did vendor events my logo is on my tablecloth, banner, business cards, my t-shirts that I wore, and so on. Customer would come to my table and say I follow you on instagram, I have been wanting to purchase your products and now I get a chance to try them! I couldn't believe how many people recognized by business by seeing my logo on instagram!

So to answer that question "why are business logo's so important?" Your business logo is the symbol for your brand. When your customers can't remember the name of your business they will remember your logo. Even when they can't pronounce your business name ( like mine lol) they will remember your logo.

So if you have a business that you are trying to get in front of customers don't forget to create a logo that represents your business and will resonate with your customers.
